On a dull and dampened day, I met with Mum, Dad, little Isla and big dog Harley in a large wood in leafy Cheshire. The weather for family outdoor portraits can be a mixed bag, and it was no surprise that a wintry November day like this was any different. I spent some time following…
Have any of these happened to friends on on their big day?
An inspired Moment
It’s not often that you see the bride alone for long, at any wedding celebration. Here, in this unposed moment, she awaits the groom. In this image, of a reflection in the glass ceiling, at Sasha’s Hotel in Manchester, she waits to enter the wedding breakfast and be greeted by her guests.
As a documentary wedding photographer looking for images that present both a feeling and a moment, I feel that this picture, taken at the Victoria and Albert Hotel in Manchester, of the bride embracing a loved one has both.
What sets me apart from other wedding photographers is my candid, documentary approach; the product of my inspiration can be seen in this lovely image.
